Rational Quantify Hotkeys - Keyboard Shortcuts





File menu

F5  Displays the Run Program dialog *
Shift + F5  Reruns the program associated with the selected run *
Ctrl + O  Displays the Open dialog
Ctrl + F4  Closes all windows for the selected run
Ctrl + S  Displays the Save Copy As dialog
Ctrl + P  Displays the Print dialog

Edit menu

Ctrl + C  Copies the selected item and places it onto the Clipboard
Ctrl + F  Displays the Find dialog
F3  Displays the Find dialog, or the next occurrence of the last string specified in the Find dialog
Shift + F3  Displays the Find dialog, or the previous occurrence of the string specified in the Find dialog

View menu

Alt + Enter  Displays the Run Summary or Data Browser window for the selected run
Ctrl + M  Displays the Filter Manager dialog
Ctrl + N  Hides or shows the Navigator window *
Ctrl + Tab  Rotate through any open windows

Keyboard accelerators

F1  Displays Help for the selected item or active window
Right arrow  In a Browser window, expands the selected item; in a List window, moves to the next column
Left arrow  In a Browser window, collapses the selected item; in a List window, moves to the previous column
Keypad *  In a Browser or graph window, expands all branches for the selected item
Keypad +  In a Browser or graph window, expands the selected item
Keypad -  In a Browser or graph window, collapses the selected item
Down arrow  Moves to the next line
Up arrow  Moves to the previous line
Shift + click  Selects a range of items in a list, such as a list of files, modules or filters
Ctrl + click  Selects non-adjacent items, or toggles the selection of an individual item, in a list, such as a list of files, modules, or filters
Page Up  Displays the previous page
Page Down  Displays the next page
F7  Moves to the first line of code for the next contiguous segment of missed source lines in the Annotated Source window
Shift + F7  Moves to the last line of code for the previous contiguous segment of missed source lines in the Annotated Source window

Mouse actions

Right-click in any window to display a shortcut menu.

Double-click a function, procedure, or method in the Browser or Function List window to display annotated source, if available.

Double-click a run in the Navigator window to open its data windows, or to bring its data windows to the top.

You can drag and drop executable files, or Java class or HTML files onto your Rational product's main window to start a run.

You can drag and drop data files onto your product's main window to view saved data.

§ You can drag and drop a native-compiled library file (.dll) onto your product's main window to instrument it.
